WORK-LIFE BALANCE UNTUK PENINGKATAN KEPUASAN KERJA: SEBERAPA PENTING?
(STUDI DI RUMAH SAKIT CAHYA KAWALUYAN BANDUNG)

The quality of a hospital as a service provider is closely linked to the quality of its human resources. As a result, hospitals must prioritize the needs and well-being of their healthcare workers, both medical and non-medical. This study aimed to examine whether work-life balance impacts employee job satisfaction at Cahya Kawaluyan Hospital. The study's population consisted of 442 employees. A proportional random sampling technique was used, with the Slovin formula applied to determine the minimum sample size, resulting in 82 respondents. The findings revealed that the work-life balance has a significant positive effect on employee job satisfaction, accounting for 43.1% of the impact. The management of Cahya Kawaluyan Hospital should consider work-life balance as a key factor in improving employee satisfaction. To boost employee enthusiasm and productivity, top management can focus on factors influencing work-life balance, such as organizational and environmental factors, among others.
