Authors who publish their articles in the Journal of Information Technology and Communication (JUTIKOM) agree to the following terms:

Authors retain the copyright of their work while granting the journal the right of first publication. The published articles are simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), which permits others to share, distribute, adapt, and build upon the work, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the initial publication in this journal is properly acknowledged.

JUTIKOM provides immediate open access to all its published content, ensuring that research outputs are freely available to the public in order to promote the global exchange of knowledge and accelerate scientific dissemination.

Authors grant the journal the right to:

  1. publish and distribute the article as the first publisher,

  2. make the article publicly accessible, and

  3. present the article publicly in any form of media.

Authors are also allowed to enter into separate, non-exclusive contractual agreements for the distribution of the published version of their articles, such as depositing them in institutional repositories or republishing them in books, provided that proper acknowledgment of the original publication in JUTIKOM is clearly stated.

Furthermore, authors are permitted to share citations or excerpts from their articles online, including on personal or institutional websites, with appropriate acknowledgment of the article’s initial publication in this journal.
