Abstract

Organizational goals will be achieved if the organization pays attention to the leadership, career development, and employees performance. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and career development on employee performance, to determine the magnitude of the influence of leadership and career development either partially or simultaneously on the performance of Cimahi City Post Office employees. The type of research used in this research is descriptive and associative methods. The number of samples used in this study were 70 respondents taken from all employees. To see the relationship between 2 variables, the analysis used is path analysis. This research results that the influence of leadership on employee performance partially is 31.2%. The influence of career development on employee performance is partially 22.3%. The influence of leadership and career development together (simultaneously) is 53.4% while the rest is influenced by other variables not examined.
