ANALISIS FAKTOR PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN DALAM PENERAPAN REVERSE INVENTORY CONSIGNMENT (RIC) PADA PIPINOS BAKERY AND CAFE

ABSTRAK
Pipinos Bakery and Cafe seringkali mengalami kekurangan tempat penyimpanan ketika peak
season. Sehingga memerlukan tempat penyimpanan tambahan, akan tetapi hal ini membutuhkan
investasi yang besar. Untuk menghemat biaya, penulis menawarkan salah satu solusinya dengan
menerapkan metode Reverse Inventory Consignment (RIC) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
menganalisis apakah metode Reverse Inventory Consignment (RIC) adalah metode manajemen
penyimpanan yang tepat dan lebih murah daripada membeli tempat penyimpanan baru. Metode
yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan menganalisa 6 faktor RIC yang dikemukakan
oleh Kleivness (2016) beserta indikatornya. Data primer yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini
didapatkan dari wawancara langsung dengan pemilik Pipinos. Hasil analisa kualitatif akan
diperkuat dengan hasil perhitungan biaya yang dikeluarkan masing-masing alternatif. Hasil
menunjukkan bahwa 5 dari 6 faktor menunjukkan hasil positif untuk menerapkan RIC dengan
pemasok, serta biaya membeli tempat penyimpanan baru lebih mahal daripada menerapkan RIC.
