Authors who publish their work in Accounting Research Journal retain the copyright of their work while granting the journal the right of first publication. The published work is simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial License (CC BY-NC), which permits others to share and adapt the work with appropriate credit given to the author(s) and acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal, but not for commercial purposes.
